Suspected Serial Killer Anthony Sowell
Suspected serial killer and rapist Anthony Sowell arrested in 2009.
Cuyahoga County authorities have said Anthony Sowell lured vulnerable women, typically homeless or living alone who had serious drug or alcohol addictions, to his home and then attacked them. Of the 11 alleged victims, 10 have been identified. The remains of 10 women and a skull were found in his home and buried in his backyard yard.

Sowell faces charges for murder, rape, assault and corpse abuse. He is accused of murdering 11 women and attacking three others who survived. He could get the death penalty if convicted of any of the killings.

Sowell was a Marine who spent 15 years in prison for an attempted rape in 1989.
