Kevin Hoskins and Dante English arrested for home invasion in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati.

Cincinnati Police are still looking for one suspect after a home invasion in College Hill. Police do have two men in custody after a homeowner was handcuffed, had a bag placed over his head and held at gunpoint.

Police say that there were at least two occupants inside the home on Ebony Lane when the masked gunmen broke in just at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. One of the residents was on the telephone at the time and the person on the other line heard the commotion and called police.The remaining suspect is described as a black male wearing all black clothes, black shoes and a black mask.

The two men arrested, Dante English and Kevin Hoskins, are charged with Aggravated Robbery and Kidnapping. English is also charged with Drug Possession.

These are both career criminals who have each been given the bare minimum amount of prison time for nearly 100 violent crime, theft and gun related charges in the past 15 years.

Kevin Hoskins, 36, has over 70 criminal convictions for multiple counts of Domestic Violence and Trafficking In Cocaine. For nearly all of these charges Hoskins was given probation or a few months in jail. In 2001, Hoskins was given 3 years by Judge Robert Ruehlman in connection with Aggravated Burglary, Burglary and Robbery charges. These charges usually carry sentences from 8 to 20 years in prison. After Hoskins was released in 2004, he continued being arrested for drugs and battery with no substantial time spent in jail.

Dante Engish, 31, was sentenced to 1 year in prison in 1998 for Aggravated Assault for a shooting a victim in a drive-by. He received this one year sentence for two counts of Felonious Assault, two counts of Firing Into A Residence or School and Having A Weapon Under Disability. One year. It is the longest he has spent in prison although he has numerous violent, drug related convictions.
