Price Hill man arrested for Rape of 12 year-old

CINCINNATI - A 44-year-old Price Hill man with a history of Domestic Violence is now facing a felony rape charge for allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with a child.
Van "Pee Wee" Johnson was arrested Wednesday night by the Criminal Investigations Section of the Cincinnati Police Department for Rape.
The victim is 12 years old, according to court records.
The alleged crime happened last week at an apartment on Grand Avenue, police say but he was not taken into custody until last night. Johnson is currently being held on a Felony 1 count of Rape. In Ohio, Rape carries a possible Life sentence under Section 2907.02 under the Ohio Revised Code of Law.
